Shauna Edwards and her husband recently gave a fireside in my stake talking about being 'digital disciples' It made me realize what a slacker I've been. I did this drawing quite a while ago and decided it was time to scan it. It is free for the taking. You can even share it if you want. :)

This is SO COOL! Let me introduce you to Brecka Hawkins. Her mom Kimberli contacted me to get permission to use my temple art to make a quilt. Brecka was making a quilt for a personal progress project. I was happy to give my consent and I asked them to send me a picture of the final product, and this is it. Isn't it amazing?!! They said they printed the artwork onto fabric then sewed all the pieces together. A lot of the flowers and things are appliqués. I think it turned out incredible and I'm so glad they shared this with me. It is so fun for me to see my artwork used in so many creative and different ways. Thanks Brecka and Kimberli!

This is the newest addition to my Etsy shop. It is a poster and flash cards of the ASL signs for the Young Women's Theme. My daughter has cerebral palsy and some hearing loss. This is her first year in Young Women's. She was having a hard time speaking fast enough to say the Young Women's theme each week in church. We decided it might be easier for her to learn it in sign language, so she and I watched a you tube video and made these pictures to help us remember the signs we learned. Now, we are teaching all the young women! It's been an awful lot of fun.

I have always loved President Nelson. Happy to have him as our new prophet. I know many many of you have my Follow The Prophet kits that include President Monson. I love him dearly too. But with his recent 'graduation' from this life, I've done an illustration of our new prophet to put in that kit. I will add the file to my Etsy shop for anyone who buys the kit new, but for those of you who have the kit already - you can download President Nelson here for free.

I made a little game for my primary class this week. The Lesson was about the Martin Willey Handcart companies. So, I came up with this little puzzle (based off of one my kids have) I had the kids cut apart the pieces while I read them the stories from the lesson, then, gave them the big sheet with the handcart on it. They had to put the puzzle pieces together to fit everything in the handcart. They loved it! I should mention that there are many ways to arrange the pieces to fit them in the cart, not just the one pictured. I hope you'll enjoy it and get some good use out of it!
I recently received some feedback about my blog. So, I'm following the suggestion to attach a link to my Etsy shop in each post. I've got several new things in it, so click below to check it out!

When I first did my set of Utah Temples for Etsy, The Cedar City Temple had just been announced and I couldn't find any imagery to draw from. Just recently, I was reminded of that by someone wanting to make a quilt with all 17 of the Utah temples. I am not a quilter, and I can't imagine how you could make a quilt from my little drawings. But I LOVE the idea of it. I asked her to send me a picture when she's done. I so hope she does. Since the Cedar City Temple is all built now, I hurried off and drew a picture of it for her. Here it is for anyone else who would like it. Enjoy! And remember I love to see the projects you all make using my illustrations.

A short while ago I was contacted by Education.com. They are a great resource for teachers and parents alike. I printed out some of their free worksheets for my girls to play school with. I was trying to be sneaky and creative in getting them to work on school work without knowing it. They helped their dolls and stuffed animals to do the school work and it actually worked! Anyhow - Education.com contacted me and asked if I'd be willing to share one of their free worksheets as a download on my blog. Knowing that many of you are home schoolers, I said "Of course!" So here it is. Enjoy it, and be sure to check out their website. They've got worksheets for everything!
